Jackdaws – Year of the Guitar

The Eden Stell Guitar Duo gave 14 concerts and workshops as part of the Jackdaws Music Education Trust Year of the Guitar. All the concerts and workshops centred on schools in the Frome area and will culminate in a concert with all the schools at the Cheese and Grain in Frome on 6 June.  Full details and Year of the Guitar blog on jackdaws.org.uk

25 years of Eden Stell

2014 marks our duos 25 years playing together starting way back in 1989 whilst at the Royal Academy of Music in London. We are celebrating with a few concerts and being ensemble in residence in Gevelsberg, Germany, and at Jackdaws Educational Trust who are also making 2014 ‘The Year of the Guitar’, and we are also performed in Canada at Guitar Alla Grande, and in Sweden at Oskarshamns Gitarrfestival – Anmalan 20-23 March. We will also be releasing our new CD on the BGS label in the Autumn with a concert at Kings Place for IGF. Until then here’s some fun old pics of us looking a bit younger. If that’s not enough we’ll be posting a few more oldies soon. Stay tuned …EdSt2
