Uppsala Guitar Festival

The Eden Stell Guitar Duo will be joining the line-up of guitar wizards at Sweden’s Uppsala International Guitar Festival 13-16 October.

2010s artists also include Paco de Lucia, Celso Machado, and gypsy jazz legend Joscho Stephan Trio. As well as concerts there are masterclasses and lectures for those guitarists who want to take part and also see a beautiful part of the world.

Mark and Chris will be taking this opportunity to perform a new work written for their duo by the young Swedish guitarist/composer Johannes Moller called “…When Buds Are Breaking”.

Johannes afirmed his place as an amazing performer by winning the GFA competition earlier this year, but is also rapidly making a name for himself as one of the most original composers for guitar. The piece will be published later this year by Les Productions d’OZ.

Earlier in October you can catch the Duo performing at the Cambridge Guitar Weekend on Saturday 2 October at Buckden Towers at 8pm.
